The third round in the South Tuapeka football matches was commenced on Saturday, when Lawrence travelled to Beaumont and was defeated by 4 points to nil. At Tuapeka Mouth Waitahuna suffered defeat by 18 points ,to 9. , . . .. . GOLF. , A team from Lawrence visited Dunrobin on Saturday. Dunrobin, won by 8 games to 6. Mrs King 1. Totals: Lawrence 6, Dunrobin 8 ‘ KICKED BY HORSE. On Sunday morning Mr Harold Weatherall, a coal dealer, was driving bis horses to a paddock, when one of the animals kicked him, inflicting severe facial injuries. Mr Weatherall was taken to the Tuapeka Hospital. Yesterday he was progressing as favourably as could be expected under the circumstances.
