(From Our Own Correspondent.) June 20. FOOTBALL. The third round in the South Tuapeka football matches was commenced on Saturday, when Lawrence travelled to Beaumont and was defeated by 4 points to nil. At Tuapeka Mouth Waitahuna suffered defeat by 18 points ,to 9. , . . .. . GOLF. , A team from Lawrence visited Dunrobin on Saturday. Dunrobin, won by 8 games to 6. The following were the results (Lawrence names being given first): — M‘Ara 0, M'Lennan 1; Hilton 1, Foster 0; Anderson A Pryde.J; Arthur 1, MTCenzie 0; Grant 0. Berry 1; Christophers 1, Stark 0; Mrs Moore 0, Miss Low 1; Mrs Martin 1, Mrs Brensell 0; Mrs Prisk 0, Miss Yardley 1; Miss Nicholls 0, Mrs Low 1; Mrs Christophers 0, Mrs Yardley 1; Mrs Smyth J, Miss Bunn i; Mrs Lawer 1, Miss Black 0; Mrs Grant 0. Mrs King 1. Totals: Lawrence 6, Dunrobin 8 ‘ KICKED BY HORSE. On Sunday morning Mr Harold Weatherall, a coal dealer, was driving bis horses to a paddock, when one of the animals kicked him, inflicting severe facial injuries. Mr Weatherall was taken to the Tuapeka Hospital. Yesterday he was progressing as favourably as could be expected under the circumstances.
