BROADCASTING
TO THE EDITOR.
Sib,— May I express my appreciation of the announcing from the Lowe-M‘Ewan fight last week? The contest was described in a perfect manner; every detail could easily be followed, and every word was clearly and distinctly spoken,, while slang was conspicuous by its absence. Station 4YA is to be congratulated on haying such a fine sporting announcer, and I hope to hear him announcing future contests. —I am, etc., Tainui, June 19.' Ex-boxer.
, TO THE EDITOR.
Sib,— ln' your paper this morning a correspondent, “Not Squealing,” asks, if a relay from 4YA of bathing time at Karitane Home would be acceptable to some listeners. I hope I am correct in assuming that this i? meant to be a joke, but I may assure your correspondent that it could hot possibly be worse than many programmes broadcast from the studio — for "example, that of June 16.—1 am, etc., Long Sufferer. Dunedin, June 19. .
