BURGLARY IN AUCKLAND
THREE MEN ARRESTED STOLEN GOODS RECOVERED (Per Unitep Press Association. ) AUCKLAND, June 20. Three men were arrested by detectives at Kingsland to-night following the theft of large quantities of women’s clothing, valued at £BS, from the premises of the West End Costume Company, costume and mantle manufacturers, last Friday night. The detectives seized a large quantity of clothing alleged to be that which was stolen, and they also took charge of a motor car. The theft was discovered when a member of the staff visited the premises on Saturday morning. He found the racks in the showroom, which had been stocked with clothing on Friday, bare of contents. On account of the quantity of clothes stolen it was believed that the thieves bad used a motor car.
