THE KING OF IRAQ
VISIT TO LONDON \ ARRANGEMENTS FOR ENTERTAINMENT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 19. (Received June 20, at 5.5 p.m.) King Feisal of Iraq will arrive at London to-morrow on his first State visit. On reaching Dover from Ostend he will be met by the Duke of York, and addresses of welcome will be presented to him in London at St. James’s Palace, where he will stay with the King and Queen until Thursday. During Wednesday he will receive the heads of the Diplomatic Corps and will attend a luncheon in his honour at the Guildhall, where the Lord Mayor will present hita with an address. King Feisal will dine at the Foreign Office, where Sir John Simon will act as host on behalf of the Government. Among the many arrangements made after the termination of his visit to Buckingham Palace on Thursday are visits to Aldershot and to the Royal Air Force pageant to be held at Hendon next Saturday. Before proceeding to Scotland he will visit Windsor Castle on Sunday, and early in July he will embark in H.M.S. Renown and proceed to sea to witness the fleet exercises. Four destroyers will leave Portsmouth to-day to escort the Maid of Orleans, in which King Feisal will travel from Ostend to Dover.
