(Received June 20, at 11.40 p.m.) The New South Wales Cricket Association has decided to urge the Board of Control to appoint Mr Sydney Smith manager of the’ next Australian eleven. It is claimed that he is the best mas in Australia to aid the settlement of the bodyline dispute, having been manager of previous Australian teams.
