TRAINS COLLIDE
SMASH NEAR DERBY A DRIVER KILLED. (British Official Wireless.) (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, June 17. A locomotive driver was killed and another driver and guard injured, one seriously, when the early morning passenger express from Sheffield to Bristol ran into the rear of a mineral train between Wingfield and Ambergate, 14 miles from Derby. The express was being drawn by two engines, and both were overturned, .the driver of one being pinned underneath. No passengers were injured, although several coaches were torn from their bogies and the line ripped up for a considerable distance.
