GENERAL. j The Dunedin Ladies’ Hockey Club applied for the use of the Caledonian Ground for training purposes on Tuesday evenings, the application being granted, provided the club paid for the cost of the lighting. A protest was received from the Technical College Club respecting the Sixth Division match Technical High School 0 v. Roslyn-Wakari played on June 17, declaring that the latter club played an unregistered player, L. Thomson. —The secretary reported that no fee accompanied the protest, which was therefore not in order, and the committee decided that it could not do anything in the matter. The secretary of the Port Chalmers Club advised that Haldane was now financial with the club and it had no objection to the transfer of the player to Mosgiel. It was decided to refer the matter for further consideration by the Transfer Committee. The secretary also asked for permission to withdraw the club’s Second Division team owing to the departure of players from the district, this being granted, and all points scored for and against to be deleted. A letter was received from the Mosgiel Club, stating that at a meeting of its committee it was decided to protest strongly against holding representative matches, until the Fletcher Cup competition was near completion.
