WOMEN’S HOCKEY

EXECUTIVE MEETING At the weekly meeting, held last night, Miss Hill presided, and there were also present Misses Adams, Lee, Lawson, Mackie, Sargeant, and Mrs Nelson. A letter was received from the Otago State Primary School Sports Association stating that Mr L. B. Bradstock had been appointed to represent that body on the Hockey Executive. Mias F. Mehalski applied for a transfer from Taieri to Dunedin Club.—Granted, subject to the usual conditions. A letter from the New Zealand Association gave the following details:—(l) The Dominion tournament would this year be held in Dannevirke; (2) a conference would be held in Wellington in May, 1934, and suggestions for the agenda paper were asked for; (3) Miss Edith Thompson (who was in Dunedin last week) would speak on hockey from 2YA, Wellington, on Tuesday, June 20, at 7.30 p.m.; (4) a council meeting would be held shortly. Associations were asked to send matter for discussion. . . The question of sending an Otago team to the Dominion tourney was discussed, and it wag decided to call a meeting of all hockey players, to discuss the matter, on Monday next. , The following is the draw for Saturday:— A Grade.—O.G.H.S. v.
