DUNEDIN GUN CLUB
There was a large attendance of members at the Dunedin Gun Club's grounds, Green Island, on Saturday afternoon, when trap shooting weather conditions were perfect. In the principal match of 12 clay birds E. P. Graham broke 11 birds, from the 26 yards mark— a splendid performance. H. Collins (Kurow), a 1011 New Zealand champion, broke 12 birds with the first barrel from the 15 yards mark, and two new members in Dr Greenslade and J. K. Begg each broke all their birds from the 11 yards mark. Results:— . _ Twelve Clay Bird Handicap—P. K Wood, 13 yards, 12 birds (all first barrel); H. C. H. Law 5, A. Callaghan 5 L E. Wilson 5, V. Walker 4, J. K Begg 4, C. Wilson 4, R. Maxwell 4, 1. Souness 4 were the highest scores. Ihis match was finished in semi-darkness, and from unknown angles, and the gun was carried in a field position. Some splendid trap shooting was witnessed. First money went to R. M'Donald, and second money was divided between C. H. Law, A. Callaghan, and L. E. Wilson. The matches were controlled by the club's referee, Mr A. Adamson.
