THE KING AND QUEEN
GARDEN PARTY AT WINDSOR GUESTS FROM SIXTY-SIX NATIONS LONDON, June 17. (Received June 18, at 0.30 p.m.) Brilliant scenes were witnessed at Windsor Castle at their Majesties' garden party. Two thousand guests were present representing 66 nations, including the delegates to the World Conference. This is the first garden party at Windsor for 20 years. Their Majesties were attended by the Duke and Duchess of York, the Princess. Royal, the Earl of Harewood, the Duke of Gloucester, and Prince George.
Under a scarlet and gold Indian Durbar tent they received the chief delegates, who were presented by the ambassadors, and high commissioners introduced the dominion representatives.
