THE WEATHER
FINE WEEK-END IN DUNEDIN. Fine weather, with periods of sunshine, prevailed in Dunedin on Saturday morning, but the sky was overcast in the afternoon, and the conditions were rather cold. A light north-east breeze was blowing. The barometer fell several points, but was steady at 30.30 on Saturday night. The sky was cloudy and overcast yesterday, and the temperature failed to rise above 43 degrees. There was an absence of wind. The barometer remained fairly steady at 30.25 in. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, June 18. Fine southerly weather and cold conditions continued during the week-end. Saturday was clear and sunny, but to-day was cloudy and unsettled. The barometer has fallen to 20.95 in. WELLINGTON, June IS. Wintry conditions prevailed in Wellington during the week-end. Saturday was heavily overcast, with frequent showers and a keen southerly wind. Rain fell this morning and the afternoon was overcast and cold. CHRISTCHURCH, June 18. The weather was cold and overcast yesterday. To-day was also very cold, but there was some sunshine in the early afternoon. The barometer is steady at 30.10 in.
