RANFURLY SHIELD MATCHES SAFEGUARDING CLUB COMPETITIONS. (Per United Pbess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 14. At the meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union, it was reported that the New Zealand Union had asked the various unions to submit suggestions for a possible revision of the regulations governing the competition for the Ranfurly Shield.
