THE WEATHER
A fresh south-west wind and fine, sunny weather prevailed in Dunedin yesterday morning, but the sky was overcast in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 46’ degrees. The barometer was fairly steady all day, the reading last evening being 30,Q0. ! REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND. June 14. A light south-west wind and dull, cloudy weather prevailed to-day. The barometer fell to 30.00 in after mid-day. WELLINGTON, June 14. V After a morning of sunshine rain began to fall early this afternoon. Later, the southerly wind dropped, and the evening was mild and moist. CHRISTCHURCH, June 14. The morning was uncertain, but after a briefshower the weather cleared, and the afternoon was fine. The wind was light from W.S.W. and the temperature 47 degrees; The barometer had little movement and recorded 29.83 in to-night.
