TOURIST TROPHY RACE /
LONDON, June 12.
Stanley Woods, riding a Norton, won the Junior Tourist Trophy race at an average speed of 78.08 miles per hour. Hunt (Norton) was second and Guthrie (Norton) third. Woods broke the lap record, covering the sixth at an.average speed of 79.22 miles per hour.
Moses (New Zealand) finished sixteenth. Twenty-seven started.
WOODS’S SECOND WIN.
LONDON, June 12,
The race was held on the Isle of Man over 264 miles of a hilly and twisting course. Woods also won the trophy last year.
