The weekly community sing will take place on Friday in the Empire Theatre (by courtesy of the management) from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. The leader for this week will be Mr W. R. Sinclair, who will introduce a “ classic ” under the title “The Milkman’s Anthem,” which will no doubt provide something out of the ordinary. Miss Rita Holmes will be at ttie piano ,a« usual, and will help to make (lie sing a big success. Mrs George Scott, 'one of Dunedin’s popular vocalists, will sing a solo, with a retrain in which all can join. Last week’s sing was an exceptionally good one, and everything promises that the one this week will be as good. The committee reminds listenersin to semi any donations, no matter how small, either money or goods, in order to help to swell the Mayor’s Unemployment Fund. There is no doubt that listenersin derive a great amount of pleasure from these sings, and it is to he hoped they will show their appreciation by sending in their donations to the secretary, care of Begg’s, or the Empire Theatre.
