Laloli, 6 down; H. Vernon, 6•down..; Ladies.—Mrs Uren, 5 down; Mrs Gilmour, 7 down; Miss Uren, 9 down; Mr« Elder, 10 down. ' FOOTBALL. .■ The Tuapeka Sub-union matches were played at Roxburgh and Ettrick on Saturday. Roxburgh and Millers Flat teams met on the former’s ground, and after a good game the home team won by 6 points to nil. Coal Creek and Ettrick met at Ettrick, where, after willing play, Ettrick won by 6 points to nil. Roxburgh Juniors and Roxburgh High School also played on Saturday, the latter suffering defeat by 6 points to nil.
