MILK SUPPLY
to the editor. Sir, —Your doubting correspondent who, under the above title, signs himself “ Resident,” casts an unwarranted slur upon the efficiency of the officers of the Health and Agricultural Departments, The source of our supplies is well known to (he Government inspectors, whilst the quality of our milk is known to our customers, for what else could explain our remarkable growth ? If any customer or prospective customer require milk from Jersey cows we can faithfully supply it.
As we do not pasteurise our milk, when delivered it is quite fresh, —certainly never 24 hours old. The addition (with full particulars) of three new suppliers owning Jersey herds will be the subject matter of a newspaper announcement in the near future as also will be the opening date of our up-to-date factory in the city.—We are, etc., James’s Jersey Dairies. Eric James, Manager.
