THE LOGAN PARK CROQUET GREENS

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Few of your readers are likely to take notice of the electoral propaganda in the grievance published in this morning’s issue and signed “New Zealand Native”; but the aspersion cast on the Logan Park Croquet Club cannot be ignored. “New Zealand Native” may not be pleased to learn that the club has paid the corporation for all work done to the greens. The present top-dressing will be similarly paid for, and the club is entirely satisfied with the way it is being carried out. We thank him for the information that the job could be done in a few days, but we prefer to leave the matter in the capable hands of the council foreman.---! am, etc., President. Logan Park Croquet Club. April 28.
