H.M.S. DIOMEDE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO VISIT ISLANDS. (I’er United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 3. After a three weeks’ cruise to southern ports the Diomede is due here on Wednesday. The warship will remain in port until next Tuesday, when she will leave for a cruise to Tonga, Samoa, and the Society Islands with the GovernorGeneral (Lord Blodisloe). The Diomede will visit Nukualofa and Vavau, in the Tongan Group, Apia and Pago Pago, in the Samoan Group, and Rarotonga in the Society Islands. She will reach Rarotonga on April 27 and will sail two days later on her return voyage to Auckland, where she is scheduled to arrive on May 5.
