REPORTS FROM'NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) , AUCKLAND. December 14. ' A continuation of the fine sunny weather and a light southerly breeze were experienced to-day. The barometer fell slightly, but was steady during the evening at 30.10 in. WELLINGTON, December 14. Cloudy conditions alternating with frequent periods of bright sunshine prevailed, to-dav. There was a high north wind. . . ‘ CHRISTCHURCH. December 14. To-day was brig]* and t fiunny with, a light nor’-wester in the morning and a fresh breeze from east-north-east in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 71 degrees. The barometer was steady at 29.83 till 5 p.ra. when it had a tendency to rise.
