SHOOTING AFFRAY
THE PATEA MYSTERY YOUNG MAN ARRESTED. (Peb United Press Association.) HAWERA, October 24. As a sequel to the alleged shooting affray at Patea on Thursday, when William Carradus was wounded in the leg by an unseen assailant, Alexander Myles, agod 26, was arrested on Saturday, and appeared ia the Patea Court this morning on a charge of attempted murder. The accused was remanded to appear at Wanganni on November 21.
