FEWER BANK FAILURES
SEPTEMBER IN AMERICA RESERVE BOARD'S REPORT. WASHINGTON, October 23. (Received Oct. 24, at 8 p.m.) The Federal Reserve Board report indicates that September was the most favourable ■month for a long period, including an extensive reduction in bank failures, decreased currency hoarding, and an increase in stocks of monetary gold, reaching 4,200,000,000 dollars. There were only 05 hank failures in September.
