SEQUEL TO DEFALCATIONS TWO OFFICERS CHARGED (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, October 11. Ernest Toms (44), finance officer, and Arnold Hore (auditor) of the New Zealand High' Commissioner’s office, were remanded on bail at Bow street. They were charged with stealing £3O on September 8 and £54 on September 14, money belonging to the Government. Counsel in applying for bail, said that Toms had been 20 years in the Government’s employ. Despite his suspension he had given all the information possible.
