ECONOMIES TO BE EFFECTED REFERRED BACK TO COMMITTEE. GENEVA, October 11. The Budget Committee, at Mr Hughes’s instigation, referred the Budget back to the Supervisory Committee, with instructions to effect economies. , Despite pleas by Sir Thomas Wilford and others immediately to abolish the League’s offices in London, Paris, Berlin, and Rome, the committee decided that the Supervisory Committee should report on the matter in 1933.
