Ida Gale-; donian Society; will hold a One -Hundredmile Road" Cliaiiipionsliip, ’ commcin'eiiife from: the .Dunedin 'boundary .on the Narlhroad and finishing at Naseby. Good prize money is offered, and a number ol Christchurch and other outside riders intend competing. The following is a list of the prize money;—First £lO and cup; second £5, third £2, fourth £l, fifth trophy, sixth trophy, fastest time £3 and blue riband, second fastest time cup, first unplaced rider under 19 years of age £l. All visiting- riders will be billeted free of charge. Entries for this race close on Wednesday, October 19, and handicaps will be published on October 21. Three of the Dunedin riders went over the course during the week-end, and report that tike roads for'the greater part are in 'excellent condition. Next w.eek a few’ hints will-be given to riders regal-d----ing the roads, etc.
