LABOUR DAY CRICKET
TO the editor.
Sir, —I would suggest for the consideration of the Otago Cricket Association and the Otago Cricket League that a match should be arranged between the respective bodies, to be played on Labour Day. My opinion in voicing this project is that there may possibly be more than one member of the league who may come under the eyes of the selectors for Plunket Shield matches. Further, the funds of this match could be devoted to the Mayor’s Unemployment Fund and the match played on the Oval; —I am, etc., • North Otago Rep.
