RETURNS FOR THREE MONTHS INCREASE IN REVENUE. CANBERRA, October 11. For the first three months of the financial year the excess of Commonwealth revenue over the expenditure was £2,619,000, the revenue being £18,299,000 and the expenditure £15,680,000. Compared with the first qquarter of last year, the revenue was up £2,349,000.
