BAND CONCERT

A visit was paid to Seacliff Mental Hospital last Sunday by the members of the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band, and an enjoyable entertainment was provided for the patients. The arrangements were made by Mr F. G. Gumming, secretary of the Patients and Prisoners' Aid Society. The band gave nine distinct performances during the dayi and also attended the church service and took part in it. The band well deserves the thanks expressed to it for its kindly action in remembering the needs of the patients. The band has promised a return visit before the end of the year.
