CONDITIONS! IN THE NORTH.

(Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, October 11. A moderate south-west wind and cloudy conditions prevailed to-day, an occasional light shower being experienced. The barometer was steady after-mid-day at 2D.9oin. WELLINGTON, October 11.

After early morning showers the weather was‘mainly fine to-day, with some sunshine in the afternoon. The wind was from the north. CHRISTCHURCH, October 11. Fifty-one points of rain fell during the night. To-day was fine with a faiir amount of cloud and a wind which varied from north to E.S.E. The maximum temperature was 59deg. The barometer rose during the day to 29.70 in.
