RIFLE SHOOTING
KING’S PRIZE MEETING NEW- ZEALANDERS COMPETING. SYDNEY, October 10. , (Received Oct. 10, at 11 p.m.) The shooting- to-day at the King’s Prize meeting was hampered by a biting cold wind, but good scores were notched in the opening matches of the series. The Mark Foy Match, 10 shots at 300 yards, was won by Summerville (Manly), with the possible. O’Donnell (Petone), with 50 and 49, faking 70s. Le Maistre Match, 10 shots at 600 yards, was won by Harrison (Newcastle), with the possible. The following New , Zealanders won £1 each:— Cromie 47, O'Donnell, E. A. Ballinger, Koppert, and W. H. Ballinger 45.
