SENTENCED TO DEATH
FOURTEEN RUSSIANS STEALING SOCIALISED GOODS. MOSCOW, August 25. So deficient are the compulsory deliveries of farm produce that the Soviet is intensifying the prosecutions. For stealing socialised goods, 14 people have been sentenced to death since Monday, while 11 peasants have been sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and their property has been confiscated.
