PARDON REFUSED
AM AMERICAN PRISONER BOMB OUTRAGE RECALLED. SACRAMENTO, April 21. (Received April 22, at 10 p.m.) , Governor Rolph, after an exhaustive study of testimony supplied by Labour and Liberal leaders, lias issued a report in which be declines to pardon Tom Mooney, who is serving life imprisonment in San Quentin Penitentiary for implication iji the Preparedness Day bombing at San Francisco in 1910, in which 10 v peoplc were killed. Governor Rolph is the fourth Governor to refuse clemency. The case has aroused public interest upon various occasions during the past decade.
