MONTREAL MAYORALTY
MR EITURET ELECTED,
OTTAWA, April 4, (Received April 5, at 9 p.m.)
Mr Fernand Rituret, a member of the House of Commons, was elected Mayor of Montreal on Monday with a majority of more than 10,000 votes over Mr Camillien House, who has been' Mayor for the past four years. Two other candidates, one a Labourite, also fell by the wayside. Mr House’s party was also swept out from the control of the City Hall.
