REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, April 5. Wet weather with a light variable wind, was experienced to-day. The sky was overcast and threatening in the morning and continuous rain fell during the afternoon and evening. The barometer was rising to-night, and registers 30.20 in. WELLINGTON, April 5. After rain overnight the weather in Wellington was fine to-day. A southerly wind was blowing. CHRISTCHURCH, April 5. The morning was cloudy with a light south-west breeze, but the afternoon was sunny, with a moderate east-nor’-east breeze blowing. The maximum temperature was 58deg. The barometer fell live points during the day to SO.SIin.
