Mr Lloyd George’s book on “ Reparations and War Debts,” which is being published on Monday, is described as amazing. Ho spares neither friend- nor foe. He attacks Mr Stanley Baldwin and Mr Montague Norman for the American debt settlement, and says that M. Poincare never concealed his dislike for the Treaty of Versailles. He wan:ad to cripple Germany.
