ANGLICAN HARRIERS
The Anglican Harriers held their twentyseventh annual general meeting in the Otago Motor Club rooms last evening. There was a good attendance, which included nine new members, Mr P. W. Breen (president) occupied the chair. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the chairman referred to the successful year the club had had. He congratulated the juniors on winning the teams’ race in the_ Otago Junior Cross-country Championship and also the club on winning the List Shield for the third consecutive year. _ In seconding the motion, Mr L. Macmillan made reference to the high honour bestowed on the club in the appointment of Mr P. W Breen as one of the New Zealand selectors for the Olympic Games. The report was adopted.
