DIVORCE IN SPAIN
THE NATION'S FIRST BILL APPROVED BY THE CHAMBER. MADRID, February 25. (Received Feb. 25, at 8 p.ra.) The Chamber has approved the first Divorce Bill Spain has ever had. It establishes the principle that marriage is based on equal riglits, and affirms that it can be dissolved by mutual consent or at the request of either party if just cause is shown. The fathers must maintain children born in or out of wedlock, there being no distinction between legitimate and illegitimate children.
