JAVA’S IMPORT DUTIES
AN INCREASE PROPOSED, BATAVIA, February 24. The Government proposes to increase the import duties to 30 per cent., impose a new tobacco excise, and fix duties on gasoline and kerosene at 10 guilder cents per litre.
