This morning the rinks matches will be resumed on the Mornington, Kaikorai and Caversham greens, and all section winners will meet on the St. Kilda green, at 2 p.m. The draw is as follows: — The winner of section A, Mornington, meets the winner of section B, Green Island. Section A, Green Island, and section B,

Mornington and Kaikorai, have byes in the first round. Players not engaged in this competition are required to meet at St. Kilda green at 2 p.m., when it is hoped to play off some of the pairs and the singles. In the pairs competition to-day, Mrs Alexander (Dunedin) .will meet Mrs McDonald (Green Island), while Mrs Seymour (Caversham), Mrs Grieve (Otago), and Miss Whelan (Mornington) have byes. The finals will be played on the St. Kilda green on Tuesday. LOGAN PARK v. MIDDLEMARCH The Logan Park Club on Wednesday played a return match against the Middlemarch Club. The game was for the Casey Challenge Cup. Despite the weather conditions, 12 heads were played, and Middlemarch won by 13 points. Scores (Middlemarch names first) Pacey, Kean, Murdock, Porteous 17, Ellison,’Matthews, Wallace, J. Hutchison 6; O’Keill, Cameron, Williams, Turnbull 12, Williamson, Looker, Lee, Miles 5; Weir, Mitchell, Miller, Hall 7, Casey, Robertson; Saunders, S. Hutchison 12, Total: Middlemarch 30, Logan Park 23. At the close of the game Mr Casey handed over the cup, and congratulated the visitors on their fine performance in winning the first game for the trophy. He trusted that they would get as much enjoyment out of these games as he had in giving the cup. Mr W. J. Thompson (president of the Logan Park Club) thanked the donor for his generosity, \and in presenting Mr Porteous with the cup expressed the hope that they had all enjoyed themselves. It was the intention of the club to issue Middlemarch a challenge, and he hoped they would be able to supply better weather conditions.

Mr Porteous thanked the members of the Logan Park Club for their kindness, and accepted the challenge.
