POSITION UNCHANGED EFFORTS TO SALVE CARGO. SYDNEY, February 23. The Northern Firth’s position is unchanged. The cargo is submerged. There is a fairly calm sea. The question of trying to salve the vessel is under consideration, but efforts to salve the cargo will be made immediately. The crew reached Sydney with their belongings.
