FEMALE FRANCHISE ADOPTED OPPOSITION EXPECTED FROM THE SENATE. PARIS, February 12. (Received Feb. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) After the entire Left, except the Communists, had marched out of the Chamber, following M. Herriot’s protest against the proposed reform the Deputies ended an all night sitting by passing by 319 votes to 1 the Electoral Bill, enfranchising women, and unanimously restoring majority, and abolishing preferential, voting. The Senate is expected to reject woman suffrage.
