CANTERBURY v. HAWKE’S BAY A DRAWN GAME. (Pee United Press Association.) NAPIER, January 15. The cricket match between Hawke’s Bay and Canterbury at Napier resulted in a draw to-day. The visitors, after completing their first innings, had 250 runs to their credit, Powell and Roberts contributing 78 and 58 respectively. Hawke’s Bav, in their second innings, made 206, and when Canterbury went to the wickets on the second occasion they required 201 runs to win, but at the drawing of stumps they had secured only 106 for the loss of seven wickets.
