The half-yearly meeting oi Court Pride of Dunedin was presided over by the C.R., Bro. J. G.-Pearson, and there was a good attendance of members and visitors. _An application for assistance* was received from a member who had. been on the sick list for a considerable time, and a grant was made from the Benevolent Fund. The trustees reported upon a conference held with the trustees of Court Enterprise, with a view to finding means of increasing the interest in the juvenile branch of these two courts and endeavouring to increase the membership, and a committee of six members was appointed to the Management Committee. The election of officers resulted in the appointment of the following:—C.R., W. Blair; S.C.R., H, L. Robertson; treasurer, R. J. Frame (re-elected); secretary, A. D. Miller (reelected) ; S.W., D. S. Simpson; J.W., S. Robertson; 5.8., 0. E. Veitch; J. 8., W. L. Robinson; minute secretary, W. G. M'Dowell (re-elected); trustee, E. Taylor; auditors, F. C. Nieholls and S. F. Lunn; Surplus Funds Management Committee—W. Fleming, R. J. Frame, R. Taylor, A. J. Watson, W. G. M'Dowell, W. Blair, and A. D. Miller. P.D.G.R. Bro W. Ibbotson and P.C.R. Bro. W. G. Jolly, of Court Enterprise, made efficient installing officers, and they were accordred a hearty vote of thanks for their services. An official visit wa« made by Court Enterprise. C.R. Bro. Wright responded on behalf of the court to the toast of “ Our Visitors.”
