BOXING HEAVY-WEIGHT BOUT CAN- , CELLED. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, January 13. (Received Jan. 14, at 8 p.m.) Plans for a heavy-weight championship fight between Max Schmeling and Mickey Walker at Miami, Florida, in February, were definitely cancelled on Wednesday because the financial conditions at Miami are not good enough to assure a profitable gate. Schmeling’s manager announced that the Madison Square Corporation, which was promoting the bout, bad agreed to the cancellation.
