NEW RIFLE BULLET
A GERMAN INVENTION GREAT PENETRATING POWER. BERLIN, January 13. ' (Received Jan. 13, at 11 p.m.) Herr Gerlich, an engineer at Kiel, has invented a rifle bullet which it is claimed is capable of making a hole in armour plate half an inch thick. This is achieved through practically doubling the velocity of the bullet.
