WINNIPEG RAILWAY
PROPOSED CUT IN WAGES MEN FAVOUR A STRIKE. OTTAWA, January 7. (Received Jan. 8, at 9 p.m.) The carmen and track workers of the Street Railway Company at Winnipeg voted by an overwhelming majority in favour of a strike as a protest against a proposed 10 per cent, reduction in wages.
