PRESIDENT HINDENBURG
GERMANY’S GREATEST ASSET RE-ELECTION DESIRED. BERLIN, January 7. (Received Jan. 8, at 8 p.m.) Following upon a conference between Dr Bruening, Herr Hitler, and Dr Crooner, with the object of securing support of the Nazi Party, which is essential to President Hindenburg’s re-elec tion as Reich President on May 5, this being considered vital by the Government inasmuch ns President Hindenburg’s personality is Germany’s greatest asset, Herr Hitler reserved his decision.
