(Received Dec. 30, at 8 p.m.) The Government ruled against requests from prairie dairying interests that a shipment of 4000 boxes of Australian butter, which is due on Friday, should be barred. Answering protests from two Vancouver importers, who had informed the trade department that they could not get quotations or supplies, the Alberta Government ruled that future Alberta interests must supply quotations and Australian shipments must cease, temporarily at least.
