PRUSSIA’S BUDGET
ATTEMPT TO COVER DEFICIT SWEEPING ECONOMIES. BERLIN, December 28. Prussia’s attempt to cover her Budget deficit of 107,000,000 marks does not spare even the German fetish of chemical research. Eight institutes are being closed, in addition to a dozen teachers’ training schools, CO courts of justice, three State theatres, three art academies, and the cancellation of many professorships.
