Mr Murray Fuller, whose earlier collection was lost in the wreck of the Manuka, has shipped a varied collection of British contemporary art, valued at £30,000, to New Zealand in the Remuera. The collection includes three Orpens (covering different phases of the artist’s career). They were sent at the express wish /of Sir William Orpen on the eve of his death. The collection includes works by Lambert, Charles Bryant, Sickert, D. Y. Cameron, Wilson Steer, Connard, Augustus John, Arnesby Brown, Brangwyn, Clausen, M‘Bey, Russell Flint, and others. ’ The collection is charmingly representative of British academic art. There is a probability of the exhibition being transferred to Australia after the New Zealand tour.
